How do I place an order?
For balloon bouquets, individual stuffed balloons, or balloon installations (weddings, parties, on-site events), click here for our order form.
If you’d rather talk through your options before choosing a product, send me a quick email and we can find a time to talk on the phone.
How do I pay for my order?
For orders under $100: You can pay by cash, check, or CashApp when you pick up your order.
For orders over $100: Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an invoice for the deposit from Tina’s Balloon Emporium through Square. Deposits are 50% of the final cost and are non-refundable.
Your final balance will be due one week before the date of pickup or installation. You will receive a second Square invoice.
Do you deliver?
Yes! Larger orders and installations carry a 20% delivery and installation fee, which will be clearly marked on your invoice. If the delivery address is more than 10 miles from the center of Lexington, additional mileage fees may apply.
For balloon bouquets and smaller items, we generally ask that you arrange a time to pick up from my shop on Main Street in Lexington. However, you may also request delivery. Delivery fees start at $15 within a 10 mile radius of Lexington.
What is your deposit/cancellation policy?
For installations and large orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This is charged once we have agreed upon your quote. If you need to reschedule, you may do so up to 7 days before your event.
How much time is needed for an installation?
That all depends on the number of balloons involved and the complexity of the set up. We can often prepare some of the elements beforehand and transport them pre-assembled to the site. But usually we have to fill, tie, and form larger structures on site. We will discuss this with you well in advance of your event to be sure we are in and out in plenty of time before it begins.
Do you take the balloons down?
Once we leave the event site, it is up to the client or the venue to clear the balloons and disassemble and keep secure any items or structures such as arches, rings, columns, or weights. If those durable items belong to Tina’s Balloon Emporium, we will arrange to pick them up from the client at a mutually convenient time.
Please note: If you are holding an event at a rented venue, please be sure the managers know that you plan on having balloons as part of your decor. Some venues may charge you for taking down balloons.
How long can I expect my balloons to last?
We use high-quality balloons and we will always work with you to recommend the best type of balloon and placement of the arrangement for the longest-lasting product.
Some factors affect the lifespan of balloons. In general, mylar balloons last longer than latex ones when filled with helium. Mylar balloons are less porous so they can retain helium for days, while latex ones will deflate more quickly. Other factors, like hot temperatures, direct sunlight, strong winds, extreme cold, and of course sharp objects, pets, and substances can also cause damage to balloons.
If your balloons are going to be outside on a hot day, it’s best to find a shady spot away from direct sunlight and sharp objects, like fences, sticks, bushes, etc. Heat expansion can also make balloons pop.
Please note: Once delivered, we cannot guarantee the lifespan of the installation because we will not be in control of all the factors that may cause them to pop or deflate.
However, we will always do our best to deliver the most long-lasting and beautiful product that we can.
